Project 26: {week 12} display | Danville CA child, family & senior photographer

This week’s project 26 theme was:  displays.  I really enjoyed this theme because it was so broad that it really left the door wide open to shoot anything you wanted to.  I have been dying to try out some new photoshop tricks so I wanted something simple to photograph and went with these beautiful peonies that were on display on my kitchen table.  I think I like these photos so much because they feel soft, simple and quiet.  Which is not how I feel with one week of school left.  I find our finely tuned family machine has all of sudden lost all of its wheels and is skidding out of control on the asphalt.  We can’t remember how to get out the door with our shoes on (half way to school before he realized), our books or our lunches.  Let alone get out of bed.  You would think it was their first week back at school after a lazy long summer.  I don’t know what has gone wrong but it has gone south fast…and my brakes don’t work.  All I need to do is hold on for 6 more school days and I will have it made.  :)

Don’t forget to continue on with the circle and check out my amazing friend Hope Toliver | Tulsa  Senior & Family Natural Light Photographer
