I have started a project 26 this year with a group of incredibly talented woman – 13 to be exact- from across the United States. This 26 week project will consist of two blog posts each month, one will be a “me & mine” post and the second will be a challenge or theme photo. This time its “Me & Mine” time.
This image is important to me because not only does it have my immediate family but my oldest and dearest friend Cathey and her baby Zoe. Growing up in a military family I never had the privilege of establishing long term friendships until I went to college. Moving every 2-3 years kinda kills it for you. I am always envious of people who can claim friendships that date back to preschool. Facebook has been huge for people like me, helping us reconnect with lost friends from years past. I am very grateful that I have been able to reconnect with so many people. After all, who doesn’t need the occasional reminder of what a awkward dork you were in the past?
