Project 26: {stories} | Danville CA Child and Family Photographer

I have started a project 26 this year with a group of incredibly talented woman – 14 to be exact- from across the United States.  The 26 week project will consist of two blog posts each month, one will be a “me & mine” post and the second will be a challenge or theme photo.  You can check my last two post here:  Me & Mine Feb and Faceless Portrait.

This week’s theme was:

S T O R I E S

My family loves to read and be read to.  I love spying on them when they are lost in their books.  It’s nice to know they have a place to go to escape their busy days.

Here’s one of Grant at the Danville Library.

Oooooo, I love library pictures! I have a confession to make. I love the way libraries smell, especially older libraries. Seeing those stacks makes my happy and I love the perspective of your son through the stack. Lovely!!

I love the framing!!! Very well done!

This image of Mr Grant is so freaking cool. I really dig the framing. Library shots are some of my favourites ever. Mac’s monthly homework always has a “go to a library and check out a book and document it” assignment to it. So each month we try to take a different photo and it’s so fun. By the end of the school year we will have a whole library series. lol.

Wow. What a wonderful moment you captured here. Love the perspective & framing. Simply wonderful! I love the light on his face compared to the darkness on the shelves too. Great details here. Can you tell I keep going back to the photo then commenting again? Love.it.all.

Oh my. LOVE this photo where you are sneaking a capture. I just love images like this. The realness. I love reading through our circle and seeing how the love of reading is being transferred to our children in so many cases.
